True story: My name is Katie. A week ago, I signed up for a health/wellness program. I didn’t sign up because I thought I was fat or needed to lose weight (let’s be real people), but because I wanted to be held accountable for what I was eating/drinking. I was going on a summer bender 🤪. It was so fun and totally worth it, but I had enough and wanted to change it! Nothing changes if nothing changes… you know what I mean?
In that same time, I reached out to a girl, Kacia, via Instagram that was so upbeat, energetic and smart, I wanted to be a part of whatever she was doing! She’s the real deal folks! Fun fact… Kacia actually reached out to me the same time a year ago to enroll in a health/wellness program, but I wasn’t in the mindset I am in today. So much of our physical is tied to our mental and I didn’t have my head in the game last year (nothing wrong with that either…when we get there, we get there)! After speaking with Kacia, I learned more about a program under Beachbody called LIIFT 4 and it sounded like something I would totally be interested in! I signed up to be a Beachbody couch… yes… me! I signed up half for the discount and half because I thought… why not? Why can’t I coach people? Other girls and guys are doing it! I lost 40 lbs; I know a thing or two here 🤔. Before, thought that coaching wasn’t a “real job.” After a nice long chat with Kacia, I knew I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’m glad she invited me to be a part of her team and I can’t wait I to grow mine! I am going to post my journey via social media and on here. I know it’s not going to be easy, but I have a team of 2,000+ people cheering me on everyday! I also have my next door neighbor on my team too (she literally lives next door people). I know I may not feel a workout one day or “cheat” a little , but in the end, I know we are all going to do great! Let’s celebrate us just doing something different and pushing ourselves to be better. So let’s do this!
